The venue is nestled in the heart of the estate; in a secluded and serene location with uninterrupted views across beautiful parkland and mature trees, to the heather clad hills beyond….making this luxurious, exclusive use venue, the perfect backdrop for your distinctive day!
Every wedding at Ballogie House is truly bespoke; they are planned and managed by our knowledgeable team, to reflect each individual couple, a true celebration of that couple’s relationship and their love for each other.
The Exclusive Use Venue
Ballogie House, is one of Aberdeenshire’s most romantic and tranquil exclusive use wedding venues. It effortlessly combines the traditional Scottish Country House with a luxurious contemporary interior and is a perfect canvas for any wedding theme.
Guests, visitors and suppliers are there by your personal invitation only and our discreet staff are available should you need any help or assistance. This means every Bride and Groom are guaranteed total exclusivity, making their stay even more special.
The grounds of Ballogie House are secluded and private, our restaurant at Potarch and other facilities on the estate are within easy reach, but not within view of the house.
The House
Ballogie House can accommodate up to 14 guests in seven luxurious en-suite bedrooms; this includes a honeymoon suite and an accessible downstairs bedroom. The main public rooms are flexible spaces and can accommodate intimate ceremonies and beautiful receptions.
The elevated Orangery with its breathtaking views is the perfect location for a stunning reception for up to 60 guests. It can also accommodate a larger group for a drinks reception with twin double doors that open out onto the patio with a glass balustrade that makes the most of the views of the garden and parkland beyond.

The Marquee
Our glass sided marquee is available from April to October. It is flooded with natural light and is in a beautiful location looking out across the garden and parkland, perfect for any special occasion.
The marquee can comfortably hold up to 150 people for a sit down dinner and can accommodate an additional 30 evening guests.
At Ballogie House we provide round event tables and elegant Chiavari chairs for every special occasion.

Wedding Open Day
Come and join us for our Open Day on Sunday 3rd November 2024- 11am-4pm view the venue and speak to the team!
Location
The main gates for Ballogie House are located two miles from Potarch on the junction of the B993 and the B976.
The House has a long private drive that meanders through mature woodland and has several beautiful locations for ceremonies and original wedding photographs. The ‘Redwood Cathedral’ and the ‘Queen of Firs’ are both popular locations.
In Spring the garden has a colourful display of daffodils and bluebells and a wildflower bank edges the lawn in the summer. A variety of mature trees are also within the grounds and the surrounding parkland.
