Join Our Team: Property Maintenance Wanted!

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the Property Maintenance Team at Ballogie Estate.

Our small, friendly property team are looking for an enthusiastic individual to assist with a variety of tasks, including garden maintenance, grass cutting, hedge trimming, redevelopment work and the maintenance.

Do you have experience of cutting grass and gardening?

Are you comfortable using grass cutting machinery?

Can you be flexible and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team and by yourself?

Hours of work are expected to be 24 hours a week from June until late October. There is an opportunity to join the team full time if the candidate has trade skills and sufficient experience.

Due to our location, access to your own transport is essential. If located in Aboyne, there may be a possibility to get a lift with a member of staff.

Responsibilities:

– Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as, mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.

– Clean and maintain outdoor spaces.

Experience:

– Previous experience in landscape maintenance is not required but preferred
– Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers
– Physical stamina to perform manual labour in various weather conditions
– Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
– Follow safety protocols and use protective equipment when necessary.
– Safe use of pesticide training is desirable.

If interested in a full time position is desirable to have:

– A good knowledge of maintenance skills, particularly in woodwork, painting and decorating.
– Basic understanding of the other trades involved in property maintenance and building works.
– Knowledge of the safe use of power tools.
– Certificates for Trailer Handling and Forklift Driving would be useful, but training can be provided.

Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required)

Ability to Commute: Ballogie, AB34 5DT (required)

Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required)

Job Type: Seasonal Worker but could be a full time position for the right candidate.

Contract length: 3 months with the possibility of joining the Ballogie team full time.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm

Pay: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
