Position: Front of House Staff

Working week: Thursday to Sunday

Café opening hours: Thurs – Sunday, 10am-4pm (plus occasional evening events such as our popular burger nights.)

Potarch Café is dedicated to serving delicious brunch, lunch, cakes and speciality coffee offerings. We are located a stone’s throw from the River Dee, between Aboyne and Banchory. Our menu is inspired by modern flavours and traditional favourites. We have a commitment to delivering a high level of service and pride ourselves on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

– Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner

– Take orders accurately and provide recommendations from our menu

– Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area

– Handle payments and operate the cash register effectively

– Collaborate with the kitchen and front of house team to ensure smooth service

Requirements:

– Previous experience in a front of house or customer service role preferred. However, training is provided for every level on the job and to those with a keen interest in learning amongst a lovely team and environment

– Passion for providing excellent service and creating positive guest experiences

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
