Potarch Lodge achieves National Tourism Award

 Potarch Lodge 5 Star

We are delighted that on our first grading visit we have been awarded a five star accreditation by the National Tourism Organisation, Visit Scotland. The award was presented to Lewis Gray, Property Manager at Ballogie Estate Enterprises  by Jo Robinson, Visit Scotland’s Regional Director earlier this month.

The Lodge was renovated earlier this year to an exceptionally high standard providing quality accommodation for up to 14 guests in seven en-suite bedrooms. It has a large open plan kitchen, dining and living area with a wood burning stove and a separate cosy lounge with an open fireplace. The property benefits from beautiful soft furnishings throughout including the use of the Ballogie Tweed and a bespoke dining table made locally with wood from the estate.

Potarch Lodge is perfect for large groups and families wanting to enjoy a welcome break or celebrate a special occasion on Royal Deeside and we are proud to also be part of the Anglers, Walkers, Cyclists and Field Sports Welcome Schemes. Visitors to Potarch Lodge also benefit from the facilities at Potarch Café & Restaurant which has also been awarded Visit Scotland’s ‘Taste our Best’ Accreditation and is located next to the Lodge.

On receiving the award Lewis Gray said, “We are absolutely delighted to be awarded this Five Star grading by Visit Scotland. It is a great achievement showcasing the hard work and dedication by all our staff and local contractors, who completed this project to such a luxury standard.

“We look forward to welcoming visitors to Potarch Lodge to enjoy the property and the facilities available on Ballogie Estate and Royal Deeside. We are confident that our commitment, renovation and redevelopment of Potarch and the surrounding area is beneficial to the local community and provides a welcome boost to the travel and tourism industry in the area.”
