Potarch Café and Restaurant

Potarch Café & Restaurant is located next to Potarch Lodge, the Café & Restaurant has a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. We aim to consistently offer a wholesome menu using local, fresh and seasonal produce. During the summer, relax on our decking area and enjoy your meal with a glass of wine or locally brewed ale, while looking out over Potarch Green and across the fields to the River Dee.  For our younger customers we also have a large children's playarea which includes a sand pit, wendy house and a mini cart race track.

 

Opening Times

10am – 4.30pm  Monday – Thursday (Last orders from the kitchen 4pm)

10am – 11pm  Friday – Saturday (Last orders from the kitchen 8.30pm)

10am - 5pm  Sunday (Last orders from the kitchen 4.30pm)

(In addition to our regular opening times we have seasonal events and speciality evenings.)

Location

The Potarch Café and Restaurant is located on the B993 just off the A93 on the south side of Potarch Bridge and next to our luxury self-catering property Potarch Lodge. It is also just a 15 minute drive on the North Deeside Road (A93) from the villages of Banchory and Aboyne. There is ample parking in our new car park.

Activities

Potarch Café and Restaurant is close to the River Dee and a perfect location for enjoying outdoor activities on the estate, including our beautiful woodland walks or organised fishing outings and field sports events. Potarch is also one of the hubs on the Deeside Way, which stretches 41 miles from Aberdeen to Ballater, thus making it the perfect rest stop for cyclists and walkers. Within the grounds of the Café and Restaurant we will also have a well-equipped children’s play area.
