Ford Cottage is a unique, cosy holiday cottage in Aberdeenshire, sleeping up to 7 guests in a tranquil riverside location in the heart of Royal Deeside.
The traditional single storey granite cottage sits in an unrivalled position overlooking the River Dee at Ballogie along a peaceful forest track beside an historic fording point. The cottage has been beautifully renovated and redecorated in 2013, by our in-house team. The holiday cottage now has a wonderful extension providing a brand new open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room with a wood-burning stove and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river.
This holiday cottage in Aberdeenshire offers a 
warm and welcoming space for entertaining family and friends after a day outdoors, walking, fishing, playing golf or visiting local sights. There is even a newly opened safe cycling and dog walking path called The Deeside Way, which runs along the Dee and can be accessed from the Potarch Hotel nearby.
There are four bedrooms, one double, two twins and one single. And two bathrooms one with bath and overhead electric shower and a new bathroom with a walk in shower room.
