With Sean’s permission I have attached a photo of a case of Diamond Jubilee Salmon Flies which was presented to Her Majesty The Queen on her arrival at Balmoral last week from Ballogie Estate. We were sent a very nice thankyou letter from the Balmoral Factor on her behalf. As you can see the flies are rather magnificent – red, white and blue with a touch of silver, the silver threads are wound in such a way they look like diamonds when you move the flies. Balmoral have promised to let us know if they catch any fish with the flies.
