There are indoor swimming and sports facilities at Aboyne and Banchory. The more traditional field sports - game shooting, stalking and fishing - can also be enjoyed and some of these may be available on request at Ballogie.

Ford Cottage sleeps 5. It is a delightful single storey cottage set on the banks of the magnificent River Dee - located off the beaten track beside an historic ford. This cosy cottage, in splendid and tranquil settings, is ideal for both fishermen and country lovers.

In olden times the river was forded here to allow access to one of the oldest villages on Deeside. Kincardine O'Neil can still be seen just across the water.

Comfortably furnished, the interior has been tastefully decorated, it has a wood-burning stove, is centrally heated and equipped to a high standard of modern comfort.
